Jane Fonda, 85, admits she’s “ready” to die in statement

Jane Fonda has been an enduring presence in the celebrity realm for an extended period. At 85, she stands at the sunset of her illustrious career, though she continues to actively engage in her craft. Despite her age and health challenges,

Fonda, in a recent revelation, expressed a lack of fear towards death.

The actress, who has spent the majority of her life in the public eye, is now leveraging her remaining time to emphasize the importance of celebrities using their influence to advocate for meaningful causes.

In a recent interview, the Grace and Frankie star conveyed her acceptance of mortality, asserting that she is “not afraid of death” but acknowledges her finite time on Earth.

Last September, Fonda disclosed her diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, stating candidly that she wouldn’t be around for much longer. Recognizing the reality of her age, she emphasized the significance of being aware of the time behind rather than ahead. Following the announcement of her cancer, Fonda shared on Instagram that she would undergo chemotherapy, expressing gratitude for her privileged access to quality healthcare.

Fonda’s chemotherapy journey had a positive outcome, as revealed in a December post on her website, where she shared that her cancer was in remission, allowing her to discontinue chemo. Despite facing health challenges, Fonda feels blessed and fortunate.

Notably, Fonda approaches the prospect of death with a unique perspective, viewing it as an adventure. At 85, she articulates that she is “not scared of dying.” During an interview, she expressed her fear of reaching the end of life with regrets, emphasizing the importance of addressing regrets while there is still time.

While Fonda acknowledges having “very few regrets,” she wishes she could have been a different kind of mother to her children when they were younger. Despite this, she appreciates her talented and smart children, acknowledging her own limitations in parenting.

In reflecting on Fonda’s journey, one can’t help but admire her resilience and perspective on life and death. As she continues to contribute to the world, Fonda’s fearlessness in the face of mortality serves as an inspiration. Whether you are a fan or not, the impact of Jane Fonda’s legacy is undeniable, and her influence will undoubtedly be remembered when the time comes for her departure from the celebrity stage.
