Though many know J. Garner solely as a Hollywood actress, those who are closer to her admire her approachability and generosity besides her superb acting skills and great career heights.

She is a caring and dedicated mother of 3 whom she welcomed with Ben Affleck, her ex-husband.

What concerns her family, her mother recalls purchasing the land which has been in their family for many generations. It was first bought back in 1936 with the help of a bonus that her father had earned by serving in World War I.

«The farm had a two-room house and twenty acres, less an acre that was used as a Native American grave in the center of the property».

Initially, it didn’t even have indoor plunging and running water. It was in 2017 that Garner determined to purchase it and completely restore. After being neglected for decades, the actress managed to bring it back ot life and even managed to plan potatoes, lettuce and radishes there.

She recalls that once upon a time they dreamt of organic fruits and vegetables harvested from local farmers. Garner succeeded in turning the farm into a big business and earned her parents’ pride and respect.
