Hugh Grant was the object of Taylor Swift’s attention after the British actor lauded her sold-out London concerts.
The 63-year-old Grant was among many famous faces that packed London’s Wembley Stadium to see the 34-year-old singer perform three concerts.
Anna Elisabet Eberstein, Grant’s wife, and their eight-year-old daughter were all in attendance at the concert on Saturday. He went on X (formerly Twitter) after the show to gush over Swift and her beau, NFL player Travis Kelce.
“Collective Taylor Swift, Your show is out of this world, your team is fantastic and very welcoming, and your guy is fantastic, albeit enormous (#tequilashots). “I am incredibly grateful from the heart of an old Londoner, wife, and ecstatic eight-year-old #halfgirlhalfbracelet,” Grant tweeted.
“As a long time Hugh Grant stan (Stan means a very or excessively enthusiastic and devoted fan) this tweet is very important to my culture,” Swift responded on Monday. In less than 24 hours, Grant’s tweet gained over 160,000 likes, 11,000 retweets, and 5.5 million views.
After her London performance on the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift acknowledged Hugh Grant’s strong praise, proving that she is a member of the actor’s fan club.
